Board of Directors

President and Board Chairman: Tony Narcisse

As an adopted son of Georgia, Tony has re-discovered the majesty of the outdoors, rekindled his respect for nature and steadfastly believes Georgia is endowed with a diversity of natural resources unmatched by anyplace in the world. “For waterborne outdoor enthusiasts, Georgia provides experiences -in a myriad of ways- that literally and figuratively takes my breath away. Let’s enjoy these resources, invite others to do the same and promise they will be protected for future generations to enjoy.”

Vice President and Board Member: David Minich

Although it becomes harder and harder to remember all the way back to his childhood, David recalls a life of rowing, paddling, and service. The Minich family often fished small lakes in southern Ontario and propelled themselves to the fish as quietly as possible.  They also participated in service projects together, from Boy Scout paper drives, to American Field Service pizza sales, to church antique sales.  “This is a natural fit that I love .. water, paddlesports, and community service.  Can’t beat it!”

Director of Marketing and Board Member: Zach Yurchuck

Zach fell in love with paddling through using it as a way to fish, but his work with the early Georgia Kayak Fishing Foundation showed him that sharing his passion with others was an absolutely rewarding experience. Today he works with Paddle4Tomorrow to help bring paddling to the masses. He’s currently studying Marketing at the University of Georgia and spends nearly every ounce of his free time kayak fishing or thinking about kayak fishing.

Past President and Board Advisor: Sam Patrick

Sam is a life long resident of Covington, Newton County Georgia who has been fishing since he could walk. He is a “saltwater junkie” that began fishing from a kayak in Sept. of 2006. That first King Mackeral from the kayak was all it took. He said: “I am having more fun than I did as a child”.
